Moto Iron Brake Master Cylinder for 1996-2017 Harley-Davidson
Whether blacking out a bike, repairing a badly corroded master cylinder on a stock bike or reworking a brake system or building something custom, sometimes a rebuilt unit just won’t do. This Moto Iron unit has features that make it easy to integrate with stock H-D controls so your brake work doesn’t turn into redesigning a whole front end.
- Choice of 9/16″ or 11/16″ bore
- Includes lever and clamp
- Compatible with DOT 4 or 5 brake fluid—this is a safety-critical consideration many other master cylinders may not support
- Compatible with most 1″ diameter handlebars
- 7/16″-24 banjo bolt and crush washers included on 9/16″ bore
- 3/8″-24 banjo bolt and crush washers included on 11/16″ bore
- Allows reuse of your OE brake switch (one is not included)
This master cylinder comes with a lever, but it accepts OEM levers as well. It’s notched to work with 1996-2017 Harley-Davidson switch housings and is a great way to convert bore sizes, replace a master cylinder that’s too far gone to rebuild, or just spiff up a bike that lived outside that might have ratty-looking controls.
