Camshaft – Conversion Chain Drive – 525 Series – Twin Cam

• Conversion camshafts are a hybrid, with early ’99-’06 inner cam journals and late ’07-’17 outer cam journals
• Update old mechanical-style cams and tensioners to new-style hydraulic tensioner system
• 525 Cam:
• Designed to increase torque band width and increase fuel economy
• Bolt in camshaft upgrade for stock 88″ and 96″ engines
• Performs well in 103″ stroker engines
• Produces strong low and mid range power with linear horsepower and torque curve
• Can be used with factory valve springs, pushrods and lifters
• Increases throttle response and eases starting
• Responds well to increased compression and cylinder head work
• Rpm range 1750-5500
• 9° Overlap
• Conversion camshafts do not fit in a conversion camplate.
• Uses the ’07-’17 camplate and oil pump with ’07-’17 and oil pump with ’07-’17 style hydraulic tensioners, chains, sprockets and spacers. Sold separately.
