Moto Iron 2.5 Gallon Frisco-Style Sportster Bobber Gas Tank

It’s hard to go wrong with a peanut tank; they look good on all types of motorcycles—not just Sportsters.

• 2.1 gallon capacity
• Pressure-tested
• Accepts bayonet-style (cam-lock) fuel cap; not included
• Threaded ports to accept either 3/8″ petcock or 1/4″ petcock
  • Unused port(s) will need to be plugged; plugs available separately
• Tongue-type mounts

Though these tanks are pressure tested from the factory, pressure testing before applying filler or paint is standard practice. If needed, you may elect to seal with a tank sealer before painting. For the same reason, we encourage thorough, solid mounting—stress on the tank or mounting hardware will eventually lead to cracks.
