The SP1 Defender Wearbar (Part Number WB-000-228) is designed to enhance the durability and performance of your Polaris snowmobile. Crafted with a 7/16″ carbon steel host bar featuring a flat top, this wearbar minimizes “bar roll” during aggressive cornering, providing better control and stability. The carbide segments made from YG13 tungsten offer exceptional tensile strength, ensuring high resistance to chipping and wear, which extends the lifespan of the wearbar even under demanding conditions. The 90-degree angle of the carbide into the pocket of the runners creates large cross-sectional areas compared to other designs, delivering superior durability and performance. The 1″ carbide segments allow for some flex in the ski without compromising adhesion, maintaining consistent performance across varied terrains. Engineered and precisely test-fitted, the Defender Wearbar ensures an easy installation process. Chamfered ends help prevent catching when backing up or unloading, facilitating smoother operation. Extended studs accommodate ski skins, making it versatile for different riding styles. All necessary fastening nyloc nuts are included for secure attachment. The carbides and wearbars are finished with a black rust preventative coating, enhancing corrosion resistance. Additionally, the hardweld contact area on the host bar increases its depth, further improving longevity.
