Removing the entire clutch pack is significantly easier than disassembling the whole thing. There’s not a ton to say about this tool—you might look at it and say, “Hey, that’s just a washer!”

That’s not wrong, but it’s affordable, and it’s exactly the right size to hug the clutch adjuster but still catch the spring retainer.

Operation is simple: remove the clutch adjusting nut, slide this tool on the adjuster, reinstall the nut and tighten a little bit. The tool compresses the clutch springs so you can remove the special hub nuts and take the pressure plate, springs, and spring retainers out as one unit.
