The carbides are made from high-grade yg13 tungsten, offering exceptional tensile strength, durability, and hardness to minimize chipping and extend service life. The 90-degree angle of the tungsten inserts into the pockets of the runners provides a large cross-sectional area, which enhances grip and reduces wear over time. Each segment measures 1 inch, allowing for flexible movement of the ski without compromising carbide adhesion, thereby maintaining performance even on uneven surfaces.
